Alissa FuhrmannMichell Stockmann
Alissa Fuhrmann is a Community Development Manager at the American Cancer Society who works with community volunteers to achieve significant income and mission goals by providing the necessary resources and training needed to ensure successful events execution. Alissa knows that the volunteers are at the heart of everything the American Cancers Society does. They fundraise, they help patients, they advocate for life-saving change, and they’re committed to helping us achieve our mission to save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
With her own personal family history of cancer, Alissa is proud to work for an organization that attacks cancer from every angle and is passionate about engaging others to join the fight. After thirteen plus years of experience in hospitality, non-profit donor relations and B2B sales, she knows the importance of building strong relationships within the community to drive continued growth and increased event participation including event committees, teams, sponsors, survivors/caregivers and youth engagement.
Alissa holds a BA in Public Relations from Illinois State University.
