Adrian E. Bracy, MBA, CPA has served since 2009 as the Chief Executive Officer of YWCA Metro St. Louis. Bracy transitioned to the non-profit sector after 18 years in senior financial management with the National Football League to serve a calling “to inspire and make a difference in the lives of women and girls.” Prior to YWCA, Bracy was Chief Financial Officer for the Arizona Cardinals. Her time in Phoenix followed more than a decade with the St. Louis Rams. Bracy began her NFL career with the Miami Dolphins/Joe Robbie Stadium in her home town Miami, Florida.
Her strong background in financial management is complimented with responsibilities for overseeing long-term business objectives, risk management and building strong relationships with local communities. She has served on a number of non-profit boards, including that of YWCA prior to employment, The Missouri Botanical Gardens Sub-District and Girls, Inc.
Bracy has received numerous awards throughout her career including: Black Enterprise 50 Most Powerful Blacks in Sports Award; Black Enterprise 50 Most Powerful Women in Business; St. Louis Business Journal Most Influential Diverse Leader Award; St. Louis American’s Non-Profit Executive of the Year Award; National Council of Negro Women Legacy Award; YWCA Leaders of Distinction Award; Women of Distinction, Missouri Athletic Club and the Small Business Monthly Top 100 St. Louisans to Know to Succeed in Business Award.
She graduated from Morgan State University in Baltimore with a degree in accounting and has a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University. Bracy is a certified John Maxwell Coach, Trainer and Speaker. Adrian is Founder, President and CEO of her consulting firm, Adrian Bracy & Associates where she helps leaders embrace the greatness within and inspire others to do the same.
She and her husband Vernon have one son Donovan.
