SUMMARY:South County Chapter Meeting - Pink Ribbon Good
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nSPEAKER: Mallary Vasquez\nTOPIC: Pink Ribbon Good\nWHERE: Nancy’s Urban Tower Farm 4530 Lemay Ferry Rd. Suite A St. Louis\, MO 63129\nWHEN: Wednesday\, October 1\, 2025 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST\nPink Ribbon Good (PRG) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that no one faces breast or gynecological cancer alone. The organization provides free\, practical support to patients and their families\, including healthy meals\, rides to treatment\, peer support\, and essential household care. All services are offered completely free of charge to clients and their families\, regardless of age\, stage of diagnosis\, or socio-economic status. Founded in Dayton\, Ohio\, PRG has since expanded into multiple regions\, including St. Louis\, and has delivered more than one million meals to date. \nPRG’s mission is deeply rooted in the story of CEO and Founder Heather Salazar. Heather and her husband adopted the infant daughter of a young mother with stage 4 breast cancer who later passed away. Shortly afterward\, Heather herself was diagnosed with breast cancer. Surviving her diagnosis gave her a powerful perspective on the challenges families face during treatment\, inspiring her to lead PRG and grow it into a nationally recognized support network for those battling cancer. \nIn the St. Louis region\, PRG serves patients and families within a 40-mile radius of downtown. Community Engagement Coordinator Mallary Vasquez carries this mission forward by fundraising\, hosting peer support groups\, managing regional social media outreach\, and building partnerships with local organizations. In 2024 alone\, PRG St. Louis provided more than 55\,000 meals\, nearly 3\,700 rides to treatment\, close to 600 cleaning kits\, and welcomed over 1\,600 clients to peer support events. These efforts reflect PRG’s unwavering commitment to removing everyday burdens so patients can focus on healing\, knowing they do not face their cancer journey alone. \nJoin Mallary Vasquez\, Community Engagement Coordinator for Pink Ribbon Good St. Louis\, as she shares the inspiring story behind the organization\, the impact it has on families facing breast and gynecological cancer\, and the free services available to anyone with a diagnosis. From meal deliveries and rides to treatment to peer support and community partnerships\, learn how PRG is ensuring that no one faces cancer alone in our region. \nPresentation takeaways: \n-The mission and story behind Pink Ribbon Good\n-Knowledge of our free resources for anyone facing breast or gynecological cancer\n-The measurable impact PRG has made\n-Ways to get involved with PRG’s mission locally[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Contact this Speaker Directly:\nMallary Vasquez\, Community Engagement Coordinator\, Pink Ribbon Good \nEmail: mvasquez@pinkribbongood.org \nWebsite: https://www.pinkribbongood.org/ \nLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mallary-vasquez/ \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/PinkRibbonGoodSTL/ \nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/pinkribbongood_stl/[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nAll chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend.  YES!  You read that right. \n\nPlease note: This chapter meets at a non-restaurant location\, so we encourage attendees to bring their own sack lunch. SUMMARY:O'Fallon Chapter Meeting - Unspoken Grief in Everyday Life: How Loss Impacts Women’s Confidence\, Purpose & Progress
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nSpeaker: Teresa Reiniger\nTopic: Unspoken Grief in Everyday Life: How Loss Impacts Women’s Confidence\, Purpose & Progress\nWhere: Bella Milano – 455 Regency Park O’Fallon\, IL 62269\nMonday\, October 27\, 2025 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST\nMy journey into grief work didn’t begin in a classroom—it began in my own life\, shaped by personal heartbreak and the quiet ache of losses that were often unseen. \nI’ve experienced the heartbreak of two miscarriages. I’ve grieved alongside my daughters as they faced infertility and multiple pregnancy losses. I’ve held space for the loss of my stillborn brother when I was just 11. Most recently\, my family and I walked through my dad’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis and death\, followed by the immense loss of my mom in 2022. \nEach loss has layered into the next\, reminding me that grief doesn’t replace grief—it echoes it. And yet\, I’ve also witnessed the resilience that grows in its place. \nDuring the years I worked at a local funeral home\, I became a quiet presence for grieving families. Listening. Supporting. Witnessing stories unfold in raw\, sacred moments. At the same time\, my own daughters were navigating the heartbreak of infertility—and as a mother\, I grieved both for them and with them. \nIt was during those moments that I realized how much of my own grief remained unresolved—and how many women carry invisible grief that no one sees\, understands\, or gives them permission to feel. \nThat realization led to my work today—and to a calling I couldn’t ignore. \nWhat if the reason you feel stuck\, uninspired\, or disconnected isn’t burnout … but grief? \nGrief isn’t always loud or obvious. It hides in career changes\, identity shifts\, health challenges\, and the quiet heartbreaks of divorce or unfulfilled dreams. In this illuminating session\, Grief Specialist\, Mindset and Women’s Coach Teresa Reiniger explores how invisible loss shapes our confidence\, clarity\, and ability to move forward in life and business. \nIf you’ve ever wondered why progress feels hard or joy feels distant\, this conversation will meet you with compassion and empower you with tools to heal and reignite your sense of purpose. \nTakeaways Attendees Can Expect: \n\nFresh insight into grief as a barrier to personal and professional growth\nUnderstanding of “silent losses” that affect high-achieving women more than we realize\nSigns you might be grieving (even if you’ve never called it that)\nTools to gently release emotional blocks and reclaim your inner drive\nA compassionate framework for moving forward after identity-shaking life transitions\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Contact this Speaker Directly:\nTeresa Reiniger\, Grief Specialist & Coach Living After Grief \nEmail: teresa@livingaftergrief.com \nWebsite: livingaftergrief.com[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nAll chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend.  YES!  You read that right. \n\n(We just ask that if a chapter meeting is at a restaurant location\, that you purchase a meal to support the location that is so graciously hosting our event.
