Family vacations\, birthday celebrations\, extracurricular activities\, and our unwavering Saturday evening tradition of attending mass (no matter how hard they tried to dodge it!) were the cornerstones of her childhood. \nDespite the hardships they faced\, Lisa’s parents mastered the delicate balance of hard work\, living within their means\, and enjoying life. Yet\, Lisa was acutely aware of the toll that years of night shifts and relentless labor took on them. \nLife as Lisa and her family knew it changed forever a few months after her mom’s 60th birthday. With no prior health issues and plans to retire alongside her dad\, Lisa’s mom’s unexpected diagnosis of leukemia was life-shattering. Over a grueling 2.5-year battle\, medical bills mounted\, forcing Lisa’s dad to postpone his retirement. Lisa’s dad finally stepped away from work just three months before her mom passed. \nThese experiences profoundly shaped Lisa’s path. Leaning on her faith\, she realized that her upbringing and the lessons learned during those difficult times led her to establish ARK and use her years of experience as a financial planner in a more meaningful\, impactful way. Lisa’s parents instilled an undeniable work ethic\, the value of money management and taught her to cherish what truly matters in life.
