In this session\, we will uncover these fears (sometimes spoken and sometimes not)\, and how to help prospects achieve their goals in spite of them. At the end of this session\, you will have techniques to see where fears are showing up and how to move prospects beyond them\, with a series of questions and stories. \nCarrie is a geriatric physician’s assistant and technical writer by background and sold home care services for six years. In 2021\, she sold $5\,000\,000 in home care services to place fourth in the international company. She now works as a consultant for Wide Awake Business. Business owners and leaders call her when they are missing revenue targets\, struggling to create systems for growth and profitability\, are wearing too many hats\, aren’t sure why their team is getting too many “no’s” and not enough “yes’s.” Carrie and the other expert consultants at Wide Awake Business work with businesses to make them simpler\, easier\, and more profitable. SUMMARY:Lafayette MO Chapter Meeting - S.O.S Circle
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nHOSTED BY: Michell Stockmann & Sandy Fenili\nTOPIC: S.O.S Circle\nWHERE: The Dreamer’s Loft: 2710 Lafayette Ave\, St. Louis MO 63104 \nWHEN: Tuesday\, November 19\, 2024 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST\nWhat is an S.O.S. Circle?\nAn S.O.S. Circle is more than just a meeting—it’s a transformative experience where women come together to uplift and empower each other. Attendees have the opportunity to forge deep connections\, dispel feelings of isolation\, and emerge stronger\, more resilient\, and united in their journey towards personal and professional fulfillment. \nFor many women\, celebrating successes can be challenging due to societal expectations and fear of being perceived as boastful. Likewise\, sharing struggles may feel daunting as it requires vulnerability and the fear of judgment. \nIn a guided open forum setting\, participants are invited to bravely share their triumphs and challenges\, knowing that they are among a community of women who understand and empathize. \nThe acronym S.O.S. stands for “Share Our Successes” or “Share Our Struggles” and embodies the core purpose of the circle. This offers a safe space for women to bravely share their struggles and vulnerabilities\, recognizing that doing so is not a sign of weakness but of strength and resilience.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nContact these Chapter Leaders Directly:\nMichell Stockmann & Sandy Fenili\nEmail: michell@wewnational.com \nEmail: sandy@shinerem.com \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text] \nAll chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend.  YES!  You read that right. \n\n(We just ask that if a chapter meeting is at a restaurant location\, that you purchase a meal to support the location that is so graciously hosting our event. SUMMARY:West County Chapter Meeting - Vision Boards – Creating Your Vision for 2025
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Amy Yan\nTOPIC: Vision Boards – Creating Your Vision for 2025 \nWHERE: ll Bel Lago – 11631 Olive Blvd. St. Louis\, MO 63141\nWHEN: Thursday\, December 19\, 2024 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST\nHow many people do you know that are living their dreams? Are you living your dream? You’ll find that most people are stuck\, doing jobs they hate to sustain a lifestyle they’re uncomfortable with. You are most likely in a similar situation where you feel hopeless and lost. The only thing you lack is setting the right goals and planning to achieve them. A vision board can help you with this. \nA vision board is a collage of photographs\, images\, affirmations\, and quotes that help you visualize your goals and dreams. Most of us have dreams\, but they often get lost in the endless stream of our daily thoughts. This is where vision boards come in. They help you to put your focus back on what matters. When you have a clear vision of what you want\, it becomes easier to get into the mindset that will allow you to achieve it. DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Jana Haywood\nTOPIC: Move Without the Ball-Mental Performance\nWHEN: Wednesday\, January 8\, 2025 – 12:00PM-1:00PM CST\nHosted By: Michell Stockmann\n\n\nDr. Jana Haywood was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame in 2018. She has been inducted into the Lutheran North High School Hall of Honor twice; once individually and the other with the 1997-1999 State Track and Field Championship Teams. \nJana was an outstanding student and athlete while at Lutheran North High School in St. Louis\, MO. While attending\, she competed at the varsity level in three sports: cross-country\, basketball and track. She was a member of a three-peat women’s track & field state championship teams (set a state record in the high jump)\, quarterfinals in state basketball\, and advanced to the state championship for two years in cross-country. Jana was the metropolitan area-scoring leader in basketball multiple seasons. She was also the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Student Athlete of the Year. \nJana continued her athletic career at Saint Louis University with a four-year scholarship in basketball. She was co-captain of the team in 2003 and 2004. While she was playing at SLU\, the women’s team advanced for the first time to the WNIT. Her basketball skills took her around the world: Puerto Rico\, Italy\, Spain and France. \nShe graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Human Resources. She continued her education at Fontbonne University with a Master of Arts in Education and Special Education. She also received a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University. She culminated her studies earning a Doctor of Education in Leadership from Maryville University. \nJana started her career in education in 2005 in the St. Louis Public School District. Her Lutheran education instilled numerous core values with service being foundational. She found success by sharing her personal experiences as she shifted her focus from sports to eliminating barriers that negatively impact students’ academic success\, specifically those that disproportionately impact underserved and underrepresented communities. She presents at the Beyond Consequences Trauma-Informed Schools local and national conferences and serves on the advisory council for the Crisis Prevention Institute stressing the importance of de-escalation techniques that exclude restraint and seclusion of students with self-care as the anchor strategy. \nShe has worked as a teacher\, athletic director\, assistant principal and principal. In 2020 she was selected as the Enterprise Holdings Secondary School Leader of the Year. In 2021 she accepted the position as Principal of Ritenour High School in St. Louis County. Today she is the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in the Ferguson-Florissant School District. She also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at Saint Louis University. \nDr. Jana Haywood is author of Move Without the Ball\, a self-help book for people of all ages who are ready to take their lives to the next level during periods of transition. Jana co-founded Illumine Solutions Group\, a coaching and consulting company with her husband to ignite\, inspire and empower people as they pursue their personal goals. \nJana is a member of Washington Tabernacle MB Church. She serves on the Julia B. Hattitude Scholarship Fund Committee. She has served on numerous boards in the St. Louis region. Her husband is Carl Hayward Jr. and together they have three children; Carl\, Jaila\, and Jordyn. \nMental toughness is a muscle that can be trained to develop muscle memory allowing individuals to exert energy in the most productive ways in service of themselves and others. Through daily repetition and practice\, mentally tough people fall forward. We all experience setbacks\, it is how we respond that sets mentally tough people apart from the rest. During this interactive session\, participants will learn techniques that will set them up for success during good and difficult times. \n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nContact this Speaker:\nJana Haywood\, Chief Executive Officer with Illumine Solutions Group\n\nLinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/jana-haywood-edd-15a20429 \nWebsite: http://www.illuminesolutionsgroupisg.com \nEmail: janarhaywood@illuminesolutionsgroup.com \nPhone Number: 314-406-2042 \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:West County Chapter Meeting - Communicate Confidently with Just About Anyone
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Amy Narishkin PhD\nTOPIC: Communicate Confidently with Just About Anyone \nWHERE: ll Bel Lago – 11631 Olive Blvd. St. Louis\, MO 63141\nWHEN: Thursday\, January 16\, 2025 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST\nHave you ever felt awkward talking with a person who seems different? \nDo you wish you could have more genuine conversations? \nCould you use some tools to feel confident talking with just about anyone? \nIf you answered yes to any of those questions\, you’re in the right place. \nOur presenter today has worked with over 400 leaders around the world as an executive coach helping them to be confident communicators so that they can attract and retain diverse talent. \nShe holds a PhD in adult learning and has over three-decades experience speaking\, teaching and coaching-domestically and internationally.🔸So Often We Default to Silence Because We Don’t Feel Comfortable or Confident Speaking Up. After years of being belittled under the system of minimization\, women\, people of color and those who are differently-abled may hesitate to speak up for fear of retaliation\, misrepresentation\, social isolation or job loss\, even when asked to speak up. To upend the silence and find our voice\, we need cultural intelligence. \n🔸Cultural intelligence is what enables us to be in conversation with a person who has a different perspective or background. As a person develops the skills to show compassion for themselves and others\, particularly those who have a different experience\, they’ll be able to speak up and communicate confidently with just about anyone. \n🔸At home this creates more genuine productive relationships; at work this creates more collaboration\, commitment and productivity because people can bring their authentic selves. \nPresentation takeaways: \nIn this program\, participants will be able to: \n👉Uncover the cultivated cultural habit of minimizing our own and other’s voice. \n👉Identify the three ways to respond when someone comes in hot. \n👉Learn three tools you can use today to feel confident working and talking with just about anyone. \nShe has created an online course that you can find on her website so you can learn more skills to feel confident working with just about anyone. \nOn a personal note\, Dr. Amy has four adult children who still call her for advice\, and a Bassett Hound intern\, named Bruce. \nSo Often We Default to Silence Because We Don’t Feel Comfortable or Confident Speaking Up.
