We focus on curating TED-oriented thought-leaders and topics that have an intrinsic connection to the St. Louis region & may not be broadly known or understood by most St. Louisans. We provide the community with events\, connections\, and ongoing information that will help them propel the St. Louis region to greater vibrancy and prosperity.  \nWe believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes\, lives\, and\, ultimately\, the world. SUMMARY:Virtual Meeting - From Compassion to Action: A Journey of Creating a Nonprofit
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Gabriela Elizondo Gonzales\nTOPIC: From Compassion to Action: A Journey of Creating a Nonprofit\nMODERATED BY: Lollie Ramirez-Bennett\nWed\, October 18\, 2023 – 12:00PM-1:00PM CST\nGabriela Elizondo Gonzales\, a wife\, mother of four and grandmother of five\, a woman of resilience and compassion. With over two decades of experience as a successful photographer\, Gabriel’s life took an unexpected turn with the onset of the pandemic. Facing canceled photoshoots and lost clients\, she found herself searching for purpose amidst the uncertainty. \nBut rather than succumbing to despair\, Gabriela chose to renew her mind and find ways to make a positive impact. As she decluttered her house\, she was reminded of those who had lost their jobs and were in dire need. A simple act of kindness to one family sparked a fire within Gabriela to do more. \nUsing her platform on social media\, Gabriela began rallying her community to help those in need. Through her subdivision’s Facebook page and personal account\, friends and neighbors donated clothing\, household items\, and furniture for families struggling to make ends meet. The response was overwhelming\, fueling Gabriela’s passion even further. \nWhat began as a mission to provide basic necessities quickly grew into something much larger. Gabriela started Gabriela’s Families in Need\, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low-income families. With the support of her friends and partners\, she has been able to assist 252 families and counting\, offering hope\, opportunity\, and comfort in challenging times. \nAdding yet another dimension to her already multi-faceted life\, she wholeheartedly supports her son’s company\, Fly Factory Custom T-Shirts\, and Promotional Products\, serving as his trusted personal assistant. This demonstrates her unparalleled commitment to family and the success of loved ones. \nOne of Gabriela’s lifelong dreams\, as she prayerfully became the official photographer for Lakewood Church after steadfastly believing in its realization for 14 long years. Even though her season at Lakewood ended she still gets excited to share that story. Additionally\, she is the former\, Director of Photography for H Texas Magazine\, her talent and passion was showcased to a wide audience.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nContact this Speaker Directly:\nGabriela Elizondo Gonzales\nEmail: Gaby@photosbygabriela.com \nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/gabriela.elizondo.gonzales?mibextid=LQQJ4d[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Northshore Chapter - Think Small: A Realization that Nothing is Ever too Big.
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nSpeaker: Kevinnie Dreher\nTOPIC:  Think Small: A Realization that Nothing is Ever too Big\nWHERE: Covington Country Club – 200 Country Club Drive\, Covington\, LA 70433\nThursday\, September 21\, 2023 – 4:00PM-6:00PM CST\n\n\nKevinnie is an advanced practice nurse turned national wine club ceo and talk show host\, I call it my first chance at life bc I haven’t regretted one decision as it has all brought me here. I have mastered the art of self-reflection. Holding myself accountable has catapulted my career.   \n\n\n\n\n\nChanging the mindset and overcoming imposter syndrome\, marketing both yourself and your business\, developing a long term plan for your business’s future when it is in its early stages.\n\n\nHere are some key points  that our WEW women can expect  to leave with.\n\n\n\n\nMindset Development (getting rid of imposter syndrome)\, Branding\, Discovery of untapped markets\n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text]5 Minute Speaker:\nHeidi Rhea with A Rhea of Hope \nOur mission is to raise awareness and funds for Cholangiocarcinoma\, also called Bile Duct Cancer\, a rare and usually fatal cancer. 50% of those diagnosed die in the first year\, often within months\, weeks\, or days\, because they are often misdiagnosed. Only 5 -20% survive over 5 years!! This cancer is supposed to be for those 65+\, but now many 20\, 30\, and 40 year-olds with their whole lives ahead of them are dying. As an almost 70 year-old\,12 year survivor of this cancer it is hard to understand why I am still alive. So\, I decided to do something to help since I could. By 2040\, a study shows that Liver/Intrahepatic Bile Duct Cancer\, which is what I had\, is supposed to be the 3rd leading cause of cancer deaths! And most people have never heard of it. It took me 6 1/2 years to meet anyone with my cancer (at the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation Conference) and now I get 2-5 messages a month from people who asked me to contact their loved one or friend with this cancer. I have raised over $20\,000 for the Foundation for research with my Oktoberfest events and have donated hundreds to Louisiana Bile Duct patients since 2019 when I started. SUMMARY:Virtual Meeting - How to Build a Strong Network
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Kelly Lampe\nTOPIC: How to Build a Strong Network\nMODERATED BY: Dessiree Allums\nMon\, August 28\, 2023 – 12:00PM-1:00PM CST\nAbout the Presenter: Kelley Lampe is an International Best Selling author and an award-winning Sales professional with over 35 years experience in helping businesses become more profitable. 31 of those years were in the Dallas/Ft Worth area\, where she was born and raised. \nKelley had developed a strong referral network from her clients over the years and didn’t have to network at all. This was great\, because she couldn’t think of many things worse than having to network. She found out through some personality testing with her employer many years ago that she had a severe case of stage fright\, so networking was something that she didn’t enjoy and avoided at all costs. \nThen\, she met and eventually married her now husband Paul who is from St Louis. Kelley moved to St Louis in late 2017 and only knew her husband and his family. Being in a business development role\, she had to find ways to connect with people quickly and build a strong referral base and network. The thought of starting from zero gave her anxiety\, and those old fears creeped back in. She had to put a strategy in place quickly in order to be successful\, but how? \nFast forward to 2023. Kelley has been voted “One of the Top People to Know in St Louis to be Successful in Business” by the St. Louis Business Journal. Passionate about making meaningful connections has helped her go from having no network all to now receiving this honor. \nIn 2022\, Kelley was asked to be a part of an anthology “Resilience- Deconstructing G.R.I.T. Collection”. The book consists of stories written by 40 women that share their stories of perseverance in spite of adversity. The book was published in January and quickly became an International Best Seller on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. \nKelley is currently a Certified Business Performance Advisor at Insperity. She helps small to mid-size companies control the rising cost of benefits and safeguard and simplify their HR function so they are able to focus on growing the business. \nAbout the Presentation: Dislike networking? Does walking into a room full of business people that you don’t know give you anxiety? If so\, this meeting is for you! Come and learn some strategies that have allowed a fellow networking hater (that moved from another state) to build a network from zero to now being “One of the Top 100 People to Know in St Louis to be Successful in Business” by the St Louis Business Journal. \nPresentation takeaways: \n1. Strategies on building a network for people uncomfortable with networking \n2. Meeting Tips to build a strong network \n3. SUMMARY:Belleville Chapter Meeting - How to Create a Strong Network When You Don't Enjoy Networking
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Kelley Lampe\nTOPIC: How to Create a Strong Network When You Don’t Enjoy Networking\nWHEN: Thursday\, August 3\, 2023 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST\nWHERE: Tavern On Main – 301 E Main St\, Belleville\, IL 62220\nKelley Lampe is an International Best Selling author and an award-winning Sales professional with over 35 years experience in helping businesses become more profitable. \nDislike networking? Does walking into a room full of business people that you don’t know give you anxiety? If so\, this meeting is for you!
