SUMMARY:Belleville Chapter Meeting - S.O.S Circle
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nHOSTED BY: Megan Rector\nTOPIC: S.O.S Circle\nWHEN: Thursday\, April 2\, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST\nWHERE: Tavern On Main – 301 E Main St\, Belleville\, IL 62220\n\n\nWhat is an S.O.S. Circle?\nAn S.O.S. Circle is more than just a meeting—it’s a transformative experience where women come together to uplift and empower each other. Attendees have the opportunity to forge deep connections\, dispel feelings of isolation\, and emerge stronger\, more resilient\, and united in their journey towards personal and professional fulfillment. \nFor many women\, celebrating successes can be challenging due to societal expectations and fear of being perceived as boastful. Likewise\, sharing struggles may feel daunting as it requires vulnerability and the fear of judgment. \nIn a guided open forum setting\, participants are invited to bravely share their triumphs and challenges\, knowing that they are among a community of women who understand and empathize. \nThe acronym S.O.S. stands for “Share Our Successes” or “Share Our Struggles” and embodies the core purpose of the circle. This offers a safe space for women to bravely share their struggles and vulnerabilities\, recognizing that doing so is not a sign of weakness but of strength and resilience. \n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Contact this Chapter Leader Directly:\nMegan Rector\n \nEmail: Megan.Rector@commercebank.com[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nWEW events are all about connection and community\, and we love sharing those moments. These may be used – without compensation – for promotional\, educational\, or informational purposes across WEW print and digital channels. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nAll chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend.  YES!  You read that right. \n\n(We just ask that if a chapter meeting is at a restaurant location\, that you purchase a meal to support the location that is so graciously hosting our event. Don’t forget to tip your server a little extra as most restaurants are struggling with staffing issues and we want to make sure they know how much we appreciate them!) \nEnjoy a proven\, structured system that embraces the building of relationships which in turn will grow your business efficiencies\, sales\, exposure\, and business processes. \nCome meet and learn from panelists\, experts\, and local women in your WEW chapter.  You will also find allies who want to help with your success and are ready to share their resources and expertise to help you take that next step in your personal and professional life. \nFor information about this chapter\, please contact our corporate team at hello@wewnational.com. \n\n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

SUMMARY:Belleville Chapter Meeting - Unfiltered & Unapologetic: The Power of Showing Up as Your Authentic Self
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nGUEST SPEAKER: Shannon Shores\nTOPIC: Unfiltered & Unapologetic: The Power of Showing Up as Your Authentic Self\nWHEN: Thursday\, March 5\, 2026 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST\nWHERE: Tavern On Main – 301 E Main St\, Belleville\, IL 62220\n\n\nUnfiltered & Unapologetic: The Power of Showing Up as Your Authentic Self is a bold\, energizing\, and transformative talk designed to help women reclaim their voice\, rewrite their stories\, and walk confidently in who they were always meant to be. \nThis presentation explores why authenticity is more than a buzzword. It’s a catalyst for confidence\, connection\, leadership\, and personal freedom. With humor\, heart\, and unfiltered truth-telling\, Shannon guides audiences through the barriers that hold women back (fear of judgment\, people-pleasing\, perfectionism\, and comparison) and offers practical\, actionable tools for breaking free of those old patterns. \nParticipants will learn how to step into their power by aligning their words\, choices\, and presence with their real identity not the edited version created for approval or comfort. Through stories\, reflection\, and empowering strategies\, Shannon shows how embracing your whole self creates a ripple effect: stronger relationships\, deeper fulfillment\, and a life lived with courage\, intention\, and impact. \nThis is more than a presentation. It’s an invitation to stop shrinking\, start showing up\, and live unfiltered\, unapologetic\, and fully aligned with the woman you were always meant to be. \n\n\n[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””]Contact this Speaker Directly:\nShannon Shores: Vice President of Business Development\, PremierU\n \nEmail: shannon@thepremieru.com \nPhone: 314-479-2905 \nLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shannon-shores/ \n[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”” css_params=””] \nWEW events are all about connection and community\, and we love sharing those moments. SUMMARY:Belleville Chapter Meeting - SOS Circle
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nHOSTED BY: Megan Rector\nTOPIC: SOS Circle\nWHEN: Thursday\, May 2\, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST\nWHERE: Tavern On Main – 301 E Main St\, Belleville\, IL 62220\nWe will dive deep into our SOS section during this meeting. Circle?\nAn S.O.S. Circle is more than just a meeting—it’s a transformative experience where women come together to uplift and empower each other. Through the shared experiences of triumphs and tribulations\, attendees forge deep connections\, dispel feelings of isolation\, and emerge stronger\, more resilient\, and united in their journey towards personal and professional fulfillment. \nThe acronym S.O.S. stands for “Share Our Successes” or “Share Our Struggles” and embodies the core purpose of the circle: to provide a platform for women to openly discuss both their triumphs and their challenges\, knowing they are among understanding peers. \nIn a guided open forum setting\, participants are invited to bravely share their struggles and successes\, knowing that they are among a community of women who understand and empathize. \nFor many women\, celebrating successes can be challenging due to societal expectations and fear of being perceived as boastful. Likewise\, sharing struggles may feel daunting as it requires vulnerability and the fear of judgment. \nThe S.O.S. Circle offers a safe space for women to bravely share their struggles and vulnerabilities\, recognizing that doing so is not a sign of weakness but of strength and resilience. Within this circle of trust\, women find compassionate ears\, supportive shoulders\, and invaluable guidance from those who have walked similar paths.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nAll chapter meetings are FREE for anyone to attend.

SUMMARY:Belleville Chapter Meeting - New Year\, New Skincare Habits
DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] \nSPEAKER: Angie Springer\nTOPIC: New Year\, New Skincare Habits\nWHEN: Thursday\, January 4\, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST\nWHERE: Tavern On Main – 301 E Main St\, Belleville\, IL 62220\nMy life mission is to spread H.O.P.E. by Helping Others Propel to Excellence personally\, professionally\, and passionately. Since 2011\, my vehicle to live out this mission has been skincare and cosmetics. I believe that when a woman will share her face with you\, she will also share her heart. I have been in leadership with Mary Kay for 12 years where I not only educate and inform on products\, ingredients\, application\, and self care but I train\, coach\, and mentor women to live their best lives while providing choices. I watch women gain confidence from the outside in by using the products and from the inside out by investing time in their personal development journey. \nI came to Mary Kay following successful engineering and real estate careers that served our family well in different seasons of life. Those experiences prepared me for the grit\, tenacity\, and persistence it takes to be a self-employed leader in the direct selling industry. Every struggle and success during previous seasons shape us into the current better version of ourselves. I have learned to surrender things that are out of my control\, control the controllables\, and effectively lead those who have been divinely assigned to me with faith\, empathy\, and authenticity. \nI am a wife\, mom of 2 daughters\, avid reader\, nature and water lover\, soccer enthusiast\, bleacher mom\, and Gigi to our oldest daughter’s fur baby. \nPresentation Takeaways: \n1. Understand the value of protecting our body’s largest organ \n2. Learn ways to defend against our environment\, delay the signs of aging\, and deliver real results \n3.
