Let’s Reflect, Reset, and RISE. 2026 is Calling, How Will You Answer

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been doing something I do every December.

Nope, it’s not goal-setting. Not vision-boarding. It’s slowing down enough to reflect.

2025 held a little bit of everything – – some breakthroughs, some breakdowns, and a whole lot of real life in between. And here’s what I’ve learned again and again: The best growth doesn’t come from what went right. It comes from the failures. The stuff that didn’t work out. The pivots I didn’t see coming. The conversations I was scared to have but had anyway.

I don’t believe in balance, and I never will. Work/Life balance is a myth I don’t subscribe to. Life isn’t lived in perfectly equal parts. It’s layered and integrated and ever-shifting. This year taught me how to be fully present in one area without guilt about another. To lean into what matters right now and let that be enough.

For me, that meant letting WEW grow in a way that felt rooted in real community. It meant asking for help more. It meant being okay with not doing it all. It meant laughing hard, crying hard, dreaming big, and resting when I needed to.

If you’re reading this, I want to invite you into a different kind of reflection this week. One that helps you look honestly at 2025, not just the highlight reel, but the behind-the-scenes too.

To help you do that, I’ve pulled together a few simple prompts – 3 to 5 in each area of life. They’re not fluff. They are the questions I ask myself each year when I examine my actions from the past year. They’re the kind of questions that make you stop and actually think.

These aren’t meant to be answered all at once. Take your time. Journal a few. Talk them out with a friend. Let ChatGPT help you process or get to your core answers. Or just keep one question in your back pocket each day this week.

For me, success isn’t about crossing some finish line. It’s about moving forward. Learning, growing, refining, and becoming more of who I’m meant to be. That’s what I’m focused on in 2026.
