Hearts in Action The Love of Giving Back

I had a mentor before I even knew what a mentor was.

She never introduced herself that way. We never sat down with a formal plan or called it anything official. But she poured into me. Sharing wisdom, asking hard questions, cheering me on when I didn’t yet believe in myself. It wasn’t until she passed that I realized how deeply she had shaped who I’ve become.

Mentors don’t always come with fanfare. Sometimes they’re peers, friends, or coworkers. The ones who listen, push, and remind you of your potential.

If someone’s been a guiding light in your life, take a moment to reach out and say thank you. And if you feel that nudge to be that light for someone else, trust it.

Let’s lead with love and gratitude. Send the message. Make the call. Say thank you.

And if you haven’t found your mentor yet, stop by one of our WEW meetings and who knows who you’ll meet.

PS. If you want to take this a step further here are a few Canva templates of cute Love Letter designs you could use to type or write your letter on. Bonus: print it and actually mail it to yourself.
