A Love Letter to Yourself

A Love Letter to Yourself

A Love Letter to Yourself

We write emails and notes all the time – thank-yous, follow-ups, introductions, reminders. But when’s the last time you wrote a letter to yourself? This February, let’s try something different. Let’s pause, reflect, and put some love into the place that often gets overlooked: the relationship we have with ourselves. This is your invitation to write a love letter – not to a partner, friend, or colleague – but to the woman you’ve become.

You can start with something as simple as:

  • “I’m proud of you because…”
  • “Thank you for not giving up when…”
  • “I love the way you…”
  • “I forgive you for…”
  • “I see how hard you’re trying, and…”

Maybe you want to thank yourself for how far you’ve come. Maybe you need to speak gently to the part of you still healing. Maybe you just want to remember who you are at your core – beyond the titles, the roles, the expectations.

And if you feel stuck, here are a few prompts to guide your thoughts:

  • What’s something you’ve overcome in the last year that deserves celebration?
  • What version of you would your younger self be proud of?
  • Where are you growing, even if no one else sees it?
  • What do you love about the way you show up for others?
  • How can you speak to yourself with more tenderness this month?

Take five minutes. Grab your journal, your phone, or even a sticky note. Let it pour out. No editing, no judgment. Just truth. Just love. Because when you strengthen the relationship with you, everything else flows from a more grounded, empowered place. And please know, I see you and I love you for the amazing woman you are. 🩷
