Create Your Own Luck

I hear it all the time… “You’re so lucky.”

Ugh, I almost cringe everytime. And while I’m always grateful for the opportunities before me, I can’t help but smirk a little . . . because what most people don’t see is everything behind those “lucky” moments.

• The early mornings.
• The showing up when it’s inconvenient.
• The conversations that felt a little uncomfortable at first.
• The decision to walk into a room where I didn’t know anyone.

Luck doesn’t just happen.

It’s created.

And more often than not, it starts with one simple decision . . . to show up.

One conversation can change everything.

One introduction can lead to a collaboration.

One meeting can open a door you didn’t even know existed.

I’m going to share some of my luck with YOU!

So if you’ve been waiting for the right time, the right opportunity, or even just a little bit of “luck”… this is your sign.

• Come to a meeting this month.
• Introduce yourself to someone new.
• Start a conversation.
• Invite someone to coffee or lunch or a WALK once the weather gets nicer
• Invite someone to a social or business event you’re going to
• If you can’t think of anyone, invite ME!

You never know what might come from it… but I can promise you this – it won’t happen if you don’t show up.
