Dr. Leslie Davis is an award winning Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specializing as a Relationship Therapist in Illinois and Missouri. Honored as the Top Mental Health Counselor of the Year 2023 and Empowered Woman of the Year 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals, she empowers women, youth, and couples with tools to improve their relationships while coping with anxiety and depression. Dr. Davis recently received the Dr. John M. Anderson Excellence in Mental Health award by the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund.
As a professed Black single mom in America, her brand SHE MattersTM empowers single moms around the world to develop healthy attachments with a goal of reducing depression and suicidal ideation. Dr. Davis is also a Heart Mom and serves as a Board Member of the Ollie Hinkle Heart Foundation in St. Louis, MO, where she provides insights to the mental health needs of heart families in America.
Dr. Davis holds a BA in Sociology from Wheaton College and an MA in Professional Counseling from McKendree University. She also holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling and Psychological Studies from Regent University. As an International Bestselling Author, Dr. Davis is proud to be a co-author of Voices of Women: Creating Ripples of Brilliance. This book aims to empower young girls and women as leaders. When she’s not facilitating healing for brokenhearted women, Dr. Davis enjoys empowering women in her community as a Women’s Coach at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in O’Fallon, IL.
