I’m Lucky to Be Here and Lucky to Know YOU!

I’m consistently in awe of how grateful I am for the women in this WEW community. Last month at our Galentine’s event, we did a speed networking activity and spent just a short five minutes with each person.

And as I looked around the room, I realized something . . . I already knew so many of the women I was paired with. So instead of asking the usual questions, I asked them to share something I didn’t already know.

And I was honestly amazed.

In just a few minutes, several women opened up and shared something deeply personal – things you don’t typically share in a quick networking conversation.

These aren’t just connections.

These are relationships that we have been built over time.

Relationships where women feel safe. Where they feel seen. Where they feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable.

And that doesn’t happen everywhere. But it does happen when you consistently show up and work intentionally to build a relationship with someone.

And for that . . . I feel incredibly grateful.
