Making New Friends As An Adult is No Joke

Making new friends as an adult is no joke. It can feel awkward, overwhelming, or like everyone else already has their circle. But one of the things I love most about Women Empowering Women is how naturally connections start to happen when we just keep showing up for each other.

I’ve watched women go from quietly sitting across the room from each other to texting regularly, grabbing coffee, or planning lunch dates – all because they met at a meeting or ran into each other at another chapter. It’s been so cool to witness how this community makes space for real friendships to grow. That was never the original intention for this group, but I love seeing it happen!

There’s a line I love that says:

“Surround yourself with women who would mention your name in a room full of opportunities.” 🩷

That’s exactly what we’re building here – and it’s only getting stronger.
