Thoughtful Gift-Giving (Even If You Think You’re “Not Good” At It!)

I’ll be the first to admit: I’ve always felt like I’m a “terrible gift giver.” It’s just not one of my natural love languages, and I tend to overthink the process. But here’s what I’ve realized: thoughtful gifts come in many forms, and they don’t have to be complicated.
I’ve been on the receiving end of some very simple but thoughtful gifts and it’s made me realize how simple it can really be. So if you’re like me and you sometimes stress about the “perfect” gift, here are some outside-the-box ideas:
The Gift of Service
Sometimes the best gift is a service, like an hour with a coach or consultant found in the WEW Member Marketplace to help a friend jumpstart her business or gift a health and wellness consultation. These are gifts that people might not buy for themselves but will truly appreciate.
Local and WEW-Member Products
There’s something special about supporting local businesses or fellow WEW members. Whether it’s a handcrafted journal, a unique piece of jewelry, or a small-batch treat, these gifts carry community spirit.
Gifts to Charity in Their Name
Another wonderful idea is to make a donation to a charity or organization in your friend’s or loved one’s name. We have so many great organizations within the WEW network that would be thrilled for the support. It’s a gift that not only honors your loved one but also makes a positive impact.
Experiences and Time Together
And let’s not forget the gift of time. Coffee conversations, lunch dates, mini-retreats, or mastermind sessions can be incredibly meaningful. It’s a way to give connection and support that goes beyond material things.
When I started thinking about gifts differently it has made this dreaded task much simpler and more manageable for me and I hope it helps you too. And I’m ALWAYS open for more ideas – please! 🙂
Enjoy being more thoughtful!
