Who’s Ready for an “Easy Button”?

Who's Ready for an Easy Button

Raise your hand if you wish someone would just tell you what to do and how to do it?? 🙋‍♀️ With anything and EVERYTHING?? ME PLEASE!!

Honestly, I know there are a lot of things I should be doing when it comes to keeping my socials updated and optimized, especially on platforms like LinkedIn. It’s not that I don’t see the value – it’s just one of those tasks that tends to sit in the “I’ll get to it later” category because it requires a little bit of thought and time to figure out.

But I’ve learned something about myself over the years… if someone gives me the task and walks me through exactly how to do it step-by-step, that’s my version of the “easy button.” It takes the guesswork out of it, and suddenly something that felt like a project becomes something I can actually get done in just a few minutes.

Enter my friend (and WEW member) Mich Hancock. She spotted an opportunity I had overlooked and that reminded me how powerful it is to have someone in your corner who can help you see – and strengthen – your business from the outside. I hadn’t fully added Women Empowering Women to my own LinkedIn profile. 🤦‍♀️

What I love about this is that it’s a free asset that you already have access to, but it works for you in a much bigger way than you might expect. It helps you become more searchable, it shows others what you’re connected to, and it opens the door for more conversations and opportunities. And beyond that, when you add Women Empowering Women to your profile, you’re also helping other women find us. You’re becoming part of that connection point that could lead someone to a community they didn’t even know they needed.

I want to take a moment to thank Mich, who many of you know through her work with 100th Monkey Media and as the license holder of TEDxStLouis, for putting this together for our members. This is such a great example of what makes this community so special – women sharing their expertise to make things easier for one another. It really is collaboration at its best. 🩷

So if you’re anything like me and just need that “easy button” moment, this is it. We’ve laid it all out for you step-by-step, and it only takes a few minutes to make an update that can have a lasting impact.

Here you go! And no gatekeeping – share this with everyone!
