Danielle Elliott Smith is a media professional, speaker, and podcast host who helps people reconnect with themselves and live more aligned, intentional lives. A former TV news anchor and nationally recognized storyteller, Danielle has spent her career sharing stories that inform, inspire, and create meaningful connection.
She is the host of the podcast Hope Comes to Visit, where she creates space for honest conversations around resilience, grief, growth, and the moments that shape who we are.
Danielle is also the founder of ReDefining Sober, a coaching experience designed to help women reimagine their relationship with alcohol without shame, labels, or pressure—focusing instead on curiosity, self-trust, and personal alignment.
As a speaker, Danielle brings warmth, authenticity, and powerful storytelling to stages and events, inspiring audiences to embrace their stories, navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with what matters most.
With nearly seven years of sobriety, Danielle brings both lived experience and deep compassion to her work. Whether speaking, coaching, or storytelling, she is passionate about helping others find clarity, connection, and a sense of possibility in their own lives.
