A New Way We’re Connecting Women to Opportunities

Over the past several months – and honestly, even over the past few years – I’ve noticed a pattern in conversations happening at our Women Empowering Women meetings.

I’ve met women who have recently been laid off.
Women who were unexpectedly forced out of their roles.
Women who are realizing they are in environments that no longer serve them.
And women who are simply ready for something more.

At the same time, I’ve also met so many business owners and leaders who are looking for the right people to join their teams.

And I kept thinking…
How do we connect these two groups in a meaningful way without turning WEW into a traditional career club?
So I’ve thought long and hard about how to created something simple… but powerful.

Introducing the WEW Career Opportunity Board 🙌

I’m excited to introduce a new feature on the Women Empowering Women website designed to help connect our community even more.

Here’s how it works…

Members can post:

• Job openings within their businesses
• Their availability if they are seeking new opportunities

Everyone can view listings publicly:

• Job opportunities
• Women who are open to work

Posting is a member benefit:

• You must be a WEW Member to create a listing
• Viewing is open to everyone

This allows us to extend our reach while still creating value for our members.

Why This Matters

We know that some of the best opportunities don’t come from traditionaljob boards…

They come from conversations.
From relationships.
From trust.
From being in the right room at the right time.

And that’s exactly what WEW is all about.

Our Chapter Leaders are already excited about the possibilities this creates – and we hope you are too.
