Ambivert, Omnivert, Introvert, Extrovert... What kind of vert are you

For years, I called myself an introverted extrovert. I genuinely love being around people… their energy, their stories, the way a room feels when everyone is fully present with each other. (Ummm, hello? Have you met me? 😂) But I also love my alone time. Like, really love it. The quiet. The reflection. The chance to just be with my own thoughts for a while.

So naturally, I figured I was an ambivert. You know… somewhere in the middle.

But then I came across something called an Omnivert on TikTok and I almost laughed out loud. (And not just because I feel like they make up a name for everything.)

An ambivert hovers comfortably in the middle. An omnivert lives at the extremes. One night they’re the life of the party and the next week they’re completely off the grid and hiding from the world. Their energy doesn’t balance… it swings, depending on who they’re with and what’s happening around them.

(Story of my life – I rarely fit neatly into one category, and apparently that extends to personality types too.😍)

Whether you’re an ambivert, an omnivert, an introvert, an extrovert, or something that hasn’t been named yet… we all have something in common. We were wired for connection. Real, human connection. The kind that fills something in us that scrolling a feed or watching a replay never quite reaches.

You know what that means then? It means you need to attend an in-person WEW meeting or Happy Hour and then tap into one of the virtual Member Empowerment Meetups and then schedule time for yourself to sit back, alone and absorb it all in.
