TOPIC: An Employee’s Guide to the U.S. Healthcare System — and Ways to Save Money

WHERE: Hendricks BBQ @ Moonshine Blues Bar – 1200 South Main Street, Saint Charles, MO 63301

WHEN: Wednesday October 22, 2025 – 11:30AM-1:00PM CST

With close to 20 years of experience in employee benefits, including the provider, carrier and HR space, Julie brings a multi-pronged approach to help employers navigate the complex health insurance environment.

After starting her career in an oncology practice, she spent several years at one of the largest pharmacy benefit managers. From there, Julie spent 5 years working with HR professionals at a consulting firm where she helped small HR teams recruit, develop, and retain top talent.

With a strong pharmacy benefit background and experience working with jumbo employers, Julie can help employers tackle their highest healthcare costs through learned strategies from some of the largest companies in the nation. Most recently, Julie brought digital health programs to enterprise employers across the Southeast to help reduce overall healthcare spend.

Navigating the U.S. healthcare system and your employer benefit offering can feel overwhelming, confusing, and expensive. Employees often feel powerless when faced with increasing premiums, surprise bills, and complicated rules. This program is designed to give you clarity, confidence, and practical tools to take back control of your healthcare decisions. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of how the system really works—and proven strategies to save money without sacrificing care.

Presentation takeaways:
