May is here… and so is permission to check in with yourself

Can we just take a second before we dive into everything May has in store? Please?
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. And before you scroll past that thinking “I know, I know” – I just want to say this out loud to you (read this out loud please since I am not physically right there next to you): Checking in with yourself is not a luxury.
It is not something you earn after you finish your to-do list.
It is not selfish, and it is definitely NOT something to put off until things slow down. (They won’t slow down. We both know that.)
I’m not going to preach about self-care routines or tell you to download a meditation app. Everyone is different and everyone’s routine should be custom to them. What I will say is this – the reason we continue to build this community is so that no one has to carry everything alone. Showing up to a room full of women who get it? That alone is care. That IS you choosing yourself, even just for 60-90 minutes.
Which brings me to May… because this month’s lineup? It’s gooooooood!
We’re talking about leading with joy, communicating in a way that actually lands, beginning again without breaking, owning your voice, traveling smarter, and even what your newsletter can do that you can’t. (No judgment – we’ve all been there.)
