Hope you’re feeling that early fall energy! As we head “Back to School” and, as I like to say, “Back to Connectworking”. This month, I wanted to share a few small but mighty steps you can take to refresh your networking approach and make the most out of your WEW membership:
Check and Update Your Membership Profile: Take a moment to revisit your profile. Make sure your info is current, your business details are fresh, and maybe even add a fun fact. It’s a simple step, but it really helps others connect with the real you.

Dive into a NEW Chapter Meeting: If you haven’t attended one in a while, or you’re curious about visiting a different chapter, this is your gentle nudge. Each meeting is a new chance to meet incredible women, share your journey, and find that one connection that might spark something amazing.
PRO TIP: Don’t forget about our Virtual meetings. They are shorter and you can meet people from other states and chapters without even leaving your desk!
Explore Your Member Perks: Sometimes we forget all the little gems included in our membership. Whether it’s the on-demand video library, exclusive workshops, or even just discounts that you haven’t tapped into yet – take a peek and see what you might have been missing out on.

Schedule Time to Truly Connect: Whether it’s reconnecting with someone you’ve met before or reaching out to someone brand new, take the lead in setting up a coffee chat or virtual call.
PRO TIP: Have you scheduled a 1-on-1 meeting with me or a Chapter Leader yet?
Take Advantage of Member-Only Events: These special events were created just for our members and offer unique opportunities for learning, connecting, and collaborating in a more intimate setting. Don’t miss them!
PRO TIP: Sign up for the one on August 21 or September 9th. You won’t be disappointed!
Fill Out Your Member Marketplace Listing: This is one of the most underused perks! Make sure you’ve added your info so fellow members can find you, support you, and refer you. If it’s blank… you’re missing out.
PRO TIP: Purchase products and services here when you can!
Celebrate and Cheer Others On: We do shoutouts for all new members and member anniversaries on our social media pages – so make sure you’re helping us welcome everyone and spreading some cheer!
PRO TIP: Make sure you like & follow WEW social media pages and engage and share when it feels right for you.
Join the WEW Facebook Community Group: If you’re not already part of the FB group, it’s a great way to stay connected between meetings. Ask questions, share wins, post opportunities, and cheer each other on.
