Kelley Lampe is an International Best Selling author and an award-winning Sales professional with over 35 years experience in helping businesses become more profitable. 31 of those years were in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, where she was born and raised.
Kelley had developed a strong referral network from her clients over the years and didn’t have to network at all. This was great, because she couldn’t think of many things worse than having to network. She found out through some personality testing with her employer many years ago that she had a severe case of stage fright, so networking was something that she didn’t enjoy and avoided at all costs.
Then, she met and eventually married her now husband Paul who is from St Louis. Kelley moved to St Louis in late 2017 and only knew her husband and his family. Being in a business development role, she had to find ways to connect with people quickly and build a strong referral base and network. The thought of starting from zero gave her anxiety, and those old fears creeped back in. She had to put a strategy in place quickly in order to be successful, but how?
Fast forward to 2023. Kelley has been voted “One of the Top People to Know in St Louis to be Successful in Business” by the St. Louis Business Journal. Passionate about making meaningful connections has helped her go from having no network all to now receiving this honor.
In 2022, Kelley was asked to be a part of an anthology “Resilience- Deconstructing G.R.I.T. Collection”. The book consists of stories written by 40 women that share their stories of perseverance in spite of adversity. The book was published in January and quickly became an International Best Seller on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
Kelley is currently a Certified Business Performance Advisor at Insperity. She helps small to mid-size companies control the rising cost of benefits and safeguard and simplify their HR function so they are able to focus on growing the business.
