She began her professional career in Atlanta\, GA and relocated to St. Louis where she became a partner with J. Buck’s Restaurants for over 12 years. \nShe was recruited by Scott Zajac CEO of the Rockwood Group into the Renewable Energy\, Finance\, Policy\, Advocacy industry as the Director of Business Development. While there she sat on the board for the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA)\, American Council on Renewable Energy Leadership Committee and held a leadership role for the Women Empowerment movement within the Renewable Energy Sector through SEIA. \nFor the past four years Mandi has worked for Affordable Equity Partners as the Director of Business Development where she has focused on deploying millions of dollars into economically distressed markets and raising investment equity for affordable housing projects. She developed an outreach “blue-print” to connect with thousands of decision makers across the country and is actively working to raise capital for future funds. She is the author of “Playing Big in Business Relationships” How to effectively form connections and grow your network.
