What is an S.O.S. Circle?
An S.O.S. Circle is more than just a meeting—it’s a transformative experience where women come together to uplift and empower each other. Through the shared experiences of triumphs and tribulations, attendees forge deep connections, dispel feelings of isolation, and emerge stronger, more resilient, and united in their journey towards personal and professional fulfillment.
The acronym S.O.S. stands for “Share Our Successes” or “Share Our Struggles” and embodies the core purpose of the circle: to provide a platform for women to openly discuss both their triumphs and their challenges, knowing they are among understanding peers.
In a guided open forum setting, participants are invited to bravely share their struggles and successes, knowing that they are among a community of women who understand and empathize.
For many women, celebrating successes can be challenging due to societal expectations and fear of being perceived as boastful. Likewise, sharing struggles may feel daunting as it requires vulnerability and the fear of judgment.
The S.O.S. Circle offers a safe space for women to bravely share their struggles and vulnerabilities, recognizing that doing so is not a sign of weakness but of strength and resilience. Within this circle of trust, women find compassionate ears, supportive shoulders, and invaluable guidance from those who have walked similar paths.
