Finding Our “Back-to-Basics” Joy
As the world buzzes with Back-to-School excitement, I know many of us are in a different chapter of life. Maybe your kids are all grown, or you’re simply past the days of that first-day-of-school scramble. I totally get it. I remember the joy (and chaos!) of new school supplies – fresh crayons and pencils, choosing fun folders, getting a new outfit. It’s a unique kind of fresh start energy, and it’s easy to miss once life gets a bit more… “adult-y”.
So this month, let’s talk about how we can create that same sense of a fresh start for ourselves. We might not be stocking up on crayons and notebooks, but we can absolutely find new ways to refresh our routines and bring a little “back-to-basics” joy into our professional and personal lives.
Maybe at an upcoming WEW meeting, we could brainstorm together how to embrace that new-season vibe. Grab your favorite new “grown-up school supply” (maybe a fancy pen or a new planner) and come ready to share your ideas.
