Bio: Liz has over 20 years of experience in Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement. She spent half of her career in manufacturing and the other half in healthcare. She began her career at Hallmark Cards as a manager and process improvement engineer. Liz helped talented artists and sculptors design ornaments for manufacturing as a product development engineer. After 10 years at Hallmark Cards, she transitioned to the aviation industry and then made the leap from manufacturing to healthcare when she joined BJC Healthcare’s performance improvement group. At BJC’s Christian Hospital, Liz managed the Medical Staff Office, Performance Improvement, and facilitated the hospital’s 5-year strategic planning and execution process. She then led provider strategy and business operations strategic initiatives at the Centene Corporation.Liz is a graduate of the Mizzou’s Industrial Engineering program and earned a M.B.A. and a M.H.A. She was born and raised in St. Louis and lives with her husband, 2 sons, and yellow lab. She enjoys chasing after her two sons who are currently obsessed with fishing, investing, baseball, and soccer.
