Speaker Bio:
Kimberly is the Founder & CEO of Kimberly Baker Coaching & Consulting, LLC. Having over 25 years of experience in corporate, nonprofit management, sales, and education, she is driven with a purpose to help minority leaders in executive, nonprofit, and educational sectors transform challenges into triumph through personalized coaching. Prior to her transition into entrepreneurship, Kimberly served collectively for 13 years with Junior Achievement. As Senior Vice President of Education in the Central Carolinas of Charlotte region, she led initiatives that enhanced the organization remaining a viable community partner, with revenue of $1.2M and impacting the lives of 30,000-students. As Vice President of Junior Achievement of Georgia, Kimberly spearheaded strategies that expanded student impact across the state with revenue of $14.1M, serving 178,000 students. Before joining Junior Achievement, Kimberly was a K-12th educator for 12 years in the Metro Atlanta school districts. She is a graduate of The University of Memphis, Certified Personal and Executive Coach through the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute, and the International Coaching Federation, and a Certified Speaker, Trainer, Coach, and DISC Facilitator with the Maxwell Leadership Team. As a lifelong learner, Kimberly continues to master her craft through continued education and networking as a graduate of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance -Emerging Business Leaders program. and through her community service involvement as a member of the General Membership Committee for The Junior League of Charlotte, a corporate partnership member with East Mecklenburg High School PTA, and the Eastway School Improvement Team. Kimberly is the proud Mom of two (daughter Jasmine and son, Joshua), and is Grandma to twin Goldendoodles Major and Minor. She enjoys reading, writing, decorating, cooking, baking, walking, quiet moments at the beach, and spending time with family.
